About Us
South Coast XC Elite is a USATF sanctioned Cross Country and Track and Field
Club, which has previously fielded only Junior Elite Women's Teams (under 20 years
old.)  SCXC Elite has won the USA Cross Country National Championships the last
two years.  SCXC Elite Athletes are among the top ranked athletes at the State,
National, and International level.  This past year SCXC Elite Athletes have competed
Internationally in four nations, running for the United States National Team.
Starting Spring 2010,
South Coast XC Elite program is expanding, offering team and
individual coaching to athletes from youth (9 years old) to adults.
The program is implemented at four levels, depending on the long range goals, level
of commitment, and current level of experience:
  • International
  • National
  • Regional
  • Recreational

SCXC Elite is recruiting male and female athletes age 9 and above who would like to
try running as a sport.  Experience, prior running, or fitness is not required, all that is
required is a good attitude and a budding desire, the program will take care of the
rest.

Stride mechanics, nutrition, total body conditioning, and race strategy / tactics will be
introduced at a progressive level, ensuring consistent improvement and results.
